There is something magical in making....in learning new and useful skills and creating something with your hands to enjoy in the world.
Inspiring confidence and joy through learning and challenge, the process of working with the hands means that we become present, and aware of our capabilities and perhaps hidden talents!
I AM WORKING WITH various local artists to offer this series of workshops exploring different art forms and skills - come and make and move with us!

YOGA . MACRAME
I WAS DELIGHTED TO BE JOINED BY LUCY OF PEAS AND NEEDLES - WEAVER, CRAFTER, DESIGNER EXTRAORDINAIRE FOR THE First in this series of workshops ON SEPT 16TH - AND WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY!

An hour of gentle accessible Yoga to relax, get into the body and limber up for creative happenings.
All equipment will be provided and you do not have to be experienced.
Beginners heartily welcomed.
A pause for tea and cake (suitable for all tastes and dietary requirements) and a bit of a social...
Then the making!
We will show you how to make your very own beautiful macrame plant holder to take home with you......Step by step, with demonstration and hands on support
This is ideal for beginners who are interested in learning the basic knots of macrame. Macrame has become a fast growing trend and in this class you will cover all to come away with your own beautiful plant hanger.
You will be encouraged to experiment with various knots to create your piece, there will also be a selection of wooden beads if you fancy adding something a bit different to your hanger.
All materials will be provided including a terracotta pot
Set in this beautiful Studio space, with fresh air, music and laughter, (NOT FORGETTING TEA AND CAKE!)
