What to expect from a class….

Classes range from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours and are open to all unless stated.

(it will be clear whether they are suitable for complete beginners or not – but if you are in aNY doubt, just ask!)

THE PRACTICE lookS something like this.....

A grounding and gradual warm up to include breath work which flows into a dynamic

flow of postures led by the breath wth periods of rest and stillness.

A seated sequence leading to a restorative savasana/ relaxation.

Modifications will be made where possible and appropriate for those with specific needs, if

you would like to discuss this with Brydie before class or are unsure whether A particular class is for you then please feel free to contact her.

Gentle physical assists will be offered during class – they are not an indication of error and

are entirely optional! (An opportunity will be given to subtly decline them and no offence will be taken – this is your body and your practice)

When paired with solid anatomical principles and an awareness of the students needs, the safe assisting of yoga postures encourage the body’s innate wisdom to dictate shapes that are true to YOUR form and beneficial to YOUR practice.

WHAT TO BRING......

YOURSELF AND AN OPENNESS TO LEARN (SMILING AND LAUGHTER HAPPENS AND IS ENCOURAGED!)

SOFT COMFORTABLE CLOTHING THAT ALLOWS YOU TO MOVE FREELY

WATER

YOGA MAT

ANY PROPS YOU FAVOUR

(NOTE - MATS AND PROPS CAN BE PROVIDED BUT PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN IF YOU CAN OR PREFER TO)
