in this well balanced, thorough  course we explore the understanding and teaching of yoga  in a way that allows students to realise and harness their own personal strengths and personalities within the process

whether you want to move into teaching and/or you are motivated to deepen and explore your understanding of yoga, this course will develop your personal practice and give you a practical supported grounding to choose your own path.


you will complete the course feeling fully equipped and certified to move forwards....

  • Philosophy and history of yoga

  • Meditation

  • Pranayama, chanting

  • Anatomy and physiology for yoga teachers

  • Application of Anatomy & Physiology to Asana

  • In-depth breakdown of each Asana

  • Modifications & Adjustments

  • Common injuries and conditions

  • Use of props

  • Sequencing for Hatha and Vinyasa Flow

  • Verbal and tactile cues

  • The significance of language and communication during a class

  • Observational skills

  • Planning a yoga class

  • Teaching a yoga session – practical assessment

  • Health and safety

  • Business of Yoga

  • Building a portfolio of teaching practice and lesson plans

  • Yoga Practice & Journaling (70 hours minimum)

  • Teaching practice and feedback
